We are Shared Governance

As the exclusive representative of the non-law school full-time faculty and librarians at the University of San Francisco, the USF Faculty Association (American Federation of Teachers Local 4269) represents members for the purposes of collective bargaining, ensuring economic and material well-being, fostering and protecting the rights of the individual under the contract, and promoting and preserving academic freedom. As a faculty governing body, we advance the Jesuit educational tradition as embodied in the University’s statement of Mission and Goals, exercise substantial voice in the allocation of University resources, and promote the educational and professional excellence of the University.
